3. Are you able to fit into the college's social atmosphere? This might be just about the most forgotten facets of college. This will have a big effect on not just your social life, but also your performance on the soccer field and in the classroom. Pick a university that matches the social atmosphere you originated from, rather than a big name university where you will feel like a fish out of water.

4. Are you going to get sufficient playing time in the soccer team? The intra-team competition is different a variety of colleges. If you are less than a superstar player, you might find that colleges with very strong soccer teams won't have a place in the playing field available for you. So rather than being a bench-warmer for a strong team, try deciding on a college where you can lead from the front and get maximum playing time, even if the university is smaller.
